Liaisons
National Correspondents
are persons named by an IUGG National Committee to serve as a liaison between the National Committee and IACS.
There are 35 IACS National Correspondents to date (September 2012).
National Committees
are bodies dedicated to one association within an IUGG National Committee. Usually, the national correspondent also serves in that committee.
There is 1 IACS National Committee to date (September 2012).
National Representatives
are scientists designated by the Bureau as liaisons to the cryospheric scientific community in their countries.
The list of IACS National Representatives is currently under review.
Further liaisons
are scientists named by the IACS Bureau to serve as a liaison between IACS and advisory boards, commissions, partners, and other bodies.
