Liaisons
National Correspondents
are persons named by an IUGG National Committee to serve as a liaison between the National Committee and IACS.
There are 35 IACS National Correspondents to date (June 2011).
Representatives
are scientists designated by the Bureau as liaisons to the cryospheric scientific community in their countries.
The list of IACS National Representatives is currently under review.
Further liaisons
are scientists named by the IACS Bureau to serve as a liaison between IACS and advisory boards, commissions, organizations, and other bodies.
